Cells are cultivated in a nutritious environment where they develop their flavors and nutritional qualities, turning into scallops.

Co-founder & COO
Dr. Tomer Halevy has over 3 years of experience in cultured meat R&D, bio-process development, bench to pilot scale-up, and cultured meat product development. Dr. Halevy is an expert in stem cell isolation and establishment, selection of specific cells for various conditions, and translation of scientific knowledge into industrial applications.
Daniel Einhorn
Co-founder & CEO
With over 10 years of experience in management and entrepreneurship, Daniel brings leadership and organizational skills to his role as CEO of Mermade. He is experienced in business development, international partnerships, and B2B Sales. Daniel also holds an MBA from Ben-Gurion University and a BA from the University of Haifa.

Dr. Rotem Kadir has extensive knowledge in numerous cell types isolation and culturing for the cultivated meat industry. He is an expert in molecular biology and genetic tools, culturing of primary cells, development of aquaponic systems, and establishment of research facilities and foundations.
